At approximately 6:27 am, the Pierce County Sheriff's Office was notified of single motor vehicle accident with injuries County Road CC near 370th Ave, in Salem Township
On Tuesday August 15th, 2023 at approximately 6:27 am, the Pierce County Sheriff’s Office was notified
of single motor vehicle accident with injuries County Road CC near 370th Ave, in Salem Township.
It was determined that a 2016 Ford Explorer operated by a Brenda Krogstad, 45 years old from
Elmwood, WI had been traveling southbound on County Road CC when she lost control and entered the
ditch overturning.
Ms. Krogstad was transported by Ellsworth Ambulance Service to Mayo Hospital in Red Wing, MN with
undetermined injuries.
The Pierce County Sheriff’s Office was assisted on scene by the Ellsworth Ambulance Service and the
Ellsworth Fire Department.
