At approximately 1:20 pm, the Pierce County Sheriff's Office was notified of single motor vehicle accident with injuries US Hwy 63 near 825th St, in Trenton Township
On Saturday August 12th, 2023 at approximately 1:20 pm, the Pierce County Sheriff’s Office was
notified of single motor vehicle accident with injuries US Hwy 63 near 825th St, in Trenton Township.
It was determined that a 2010 Ford Edge operated by a Chrystal Heimerman, 64 years old from
Stewartville, MN had been traveling southbound on US Highway 63 when her vehicle was hit by a piece
of wood that flew out of a trailer being pulled by an unidentified northbound vehicle. A passenger in the
2010 Ford Edge, identified as Denise Johnson, 60 years old from Rochester MN, was transported from
the scene by the Red Wing Fire Department to Mayo Hospital Red Wing with undetermined injuries.
Ms. Heimerman was not injured in the accident.
The Pierce County Sheriff’s Office was assisted on scene by the Red Wing Police Department, Red
Wing Fire Department, Ellsworth Fire Department.
