At approximately 9:31 pm, the Pierce County Sheriff's Office was notified of a motorcyclist that had struck a deer on County Road ZZ near 370th Avenue in Union Township.
On Sunday, July 23rd, 2023 at approximately 9:31 pm, the Pierce County Sheriff’s Office was notified of
a motorcyclist that had struck a deer on County Road ZZ near 370th Avenue in Union Township.
It was determined that a 2021 Indian Scout motorcycle operated by Brady Hughes, 34 years old of
Arkansaw, WI had been traveling northbound on County Road ZZ when it had struck a deer. The
motorcycle overturned as a result. Mr. Hughes was transported to a landing zone by Plum City EMS
where he was later flown to St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester Minnesota by a Mayo Air Ambulance
Service with undetermined injuries.
The Pierce County Sheriff’s Office was assisted on scene by Plum City Fire, Plum City EMS, and Mayo
Air Ambulance Service.
