Two-vehicle accident with injuries on State Rd 128 near 85th Ave, in Spring Lake Township.

On Monday January 9th, 2023 at approximately 6:58 a.m., Pierce County Sheriff’s Office was notified of a two-vehicle accident with injuries on State Rd 128 near 85th Ave, in Spring Lake Township. It was determined a 2022 Chevrolet Trax traveling southbound operated by Richard Epich, 20 years old from Elmwood WI, crossed over the centerline and struck a 2021 Chevrolet Blazer traveling northbound being operated by Jan Krause, 64 years old from Elmwood, WI. Mr. Epich was transported from the scene to Western Wisconsin Health in Baldwin, WI by the Spring Valley Ambulance Service with undetermined injuries. Ms. Krause was not injured in the accident. Pierce County Sheriff’s Office was assisted on scene by Spring Valley Fire Department, Spring Valley Ambulance Service, and Elmwood Fire Department. Pierce County Sheriff’s Office
