Vehicle versus pedestrian crash on St Rd 35 near 1240th St in Oak Grove Township.

On Tuesday December 20th, 2022 at approximately 5:18 PM the Pierce County Sheriff’s Office was notified of a vehicle versus pedestrian crash on St Rd 35 near 1240th St in Oak Grove Township.It was determined a 2016 Ford Edge operated by Leila Koehnen, 42 years old from Harris, MN was traveling northbound on STH 35 approaching 1240th St when she struck a pedestrian crossing the road, identified as Lynda M Hudak, 73 years old from Prescott, WI.
Lynda Hudak was pronounced deceased on scene by Pierce County Medical Examiner John Worsing. Leila Koehnen was transported from the scene by Allina EMS to River Falls Area Hospital with undetermined injuries.
Pierce County Sheriff’s Office was assisted on scene by the Prescott Fire Department, Allina EMS and the Prescott Police Department.
