Single motorcycle crash with injuries on County Road F south of 742nd Avenue River Falls, WI in Clifton Township.

On Sunday, July 3rd 2022, at about 11:07 a.m., the Pierce County Sheriff’s Office was notified of a single motorcycle crash with injuries on County Road F south of 742nd Avenue River Falls, WI in Clifton Township.
It was determined Thomas Weijk 58 years old from New Richmond, WI was operating a 2006 Harley Davidson southbound on County Road F when he left the roadway while negotiating a curve. Mr. Weijk entered the west ditch striking a grove of trees and was ejected from the motorcycle.
Mr. Weijk was transported from the scene by Life Link III Helicopter to Regions Hospital in Saint Paul, MN where he succumbed to his injuries.
Assisting the Pierce County Sheriff’s Office on scene were Allina Health Ambulance Service, Prescott Police Department, Prescott Fire Department, Life Link III Helicopter Service and Wisconsin State Patrol.
Accident remains under investigation.
