Single motorcycle accident on State Road 35 near County Road O Hager City, WI in Diamond Bluff Township.

On Saturday, November 6^th 2021 at about 3:24 pm, The Pierce County Sheriff’s Office was notified of a single motorcycle accident on State Road 35 near County Road O Hager City, WI in Diamond Bluff Township.

It was determined Michael Lenz, 67 years of age from Cottage Grove, MN was operating a 2015 Harley Davidson motorcycle north bound on State Road 35 near County Road O, when a deer entered into the roadway.  Mr. Lenz struck the deer and entered into the north ditch and was ejected from the motorcycle. Mr. Lenz was transported from the scene by Red Wing Ambulance Service to the Red Wing Hospital in Red Wing, MN with undetermined injuries.

Assisting the Pierce County Sheriff’s Office on scene was Red Wing Ambulance Service, Red Wing Fire Department and Ellsworth Fire Department.
