Two-vehicle crash with injuries on State Highway 63 near 810th Street Hager City

     On Saturday, April 17th 2021 at about 2:02am, the Pierce County Sheriff’s Office was notified of a two-vehicle crash with injuries on State Highway 63 near 810th Street Hager City, WI in Trenton Township.     It was determined that a 2002 Toyota Tundra operated by Dillon Schuler, 24 years old of Cannon Falls, MN was traveling southbound on State Highway 63, when he lost control of his vehicle.  Mr. Schuler crossed the centerline and struck a 2000 Chevrolet Silverado going northbound on State Highway 63 operated by Michael Quiding, 51 years old of Hager City, WI. Mr. Shuler’s vehicle rolled over and came to rest in the middle of the highway. Mr. Quiding’s vehicle came to rest in the northbound lane.     Mr. Quiding was evaluated on scene by Red Wing Area Ambulance Service and was taken to the hospital by personal vehicle with undetermined injuries. Mr. Schuler was evaluated and refused transport.     The Pierce County Sheriff’s Office was assisted on scene by Red Wing Area Ambulance Service and Ellsworth Fire Department. This crash remains under investigation.
