Snowmobile accident with injury on 650th Street near 850th Avenue - Martell Township

On Saturday, February 20th, 2021, at about 4:30 pm, The Pierce County Sheriff’s Office was notified of a snowmobile accident with injury on 650^th Street near 850^th Avenue River Falls, WI in Martell Township. The operator Conner Poling 25 years old from Hudson WI was operating a 2006 Artic Cat snowmobile on private property when he struck a field divot and was ejected.

Mr. Poling was transported from the scene by Life Link III Helicopter to Regions Hospital in Saint Paul, MN with undetermined injuries.

Assisting the Pierce County Sheriff’s Office at the scene was Ellsworth Area Ambulance Service, Life Link III Helicopter, Ellsworth Fire Department and Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources.

This accident is under investigation by Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources.
