Single motor vehicle crash with injuries on Highway 35 near County Road EE Bay City, WI in Isabelle Township

On Thursday, December 24^th 2020 at about 5:05 pm, The Pierce County Sheriff’s Office was notified of a single motor vehicle crash with injuries on Highway 35 near County Road EE Bay City, WI in Isabelle Township.

It was determined that a 2010 Hyundai Accent being operated by Jacklyn Smith 34 years old from Elmwood, WI was traveling northbound on Highway 35.  Smith failed to negotiate a corner and drove left of center striking a guardrail on the south side of the roadway.

Smith was transported from the scene to Red Wing Mayo Hospital in Red Wing, MN by Red Wing Ambulance Service with undetermined injuries.

Assisting the Pierce County Sheriff’s Office at the scene was Ellsworth Fire Department and Red Wing Ambulance Service.
