On Wednesday, October 5th, 2022 at about 5:55 a.m., the Pierce County Sheriff’s Office was notified of a single motorcycle crash involving a deer on County Road J near 640th Avenue Ellsworth, WI in Trimbelle Township.
It was determined Joseph Falteisek, 60 years old from Ellsworth WI, was operating a 2018 Harley-Davidson Southbound on County Road J when a deer ran into the roadway.
Mr. Falteisek struck the deer and tipped over. Mr. Falteisek was transported from the scene by Ellsworth Area Ambulance Service to Mayo Hospital in Red Wing, MN with undetermined injuries.
The Pierce County Sheriff’s Office was assisted on scene by Ellsworth Area Ambulance Service and Ellsworth Fire Department.
