Pierce County Sheriff's Office was notified of a three-vehicle crash on State Highway 35 near 1220th Street Prescott, WI in Oak Grove Township
It was determined a 2019 Jeep Cherokee operated by Joseph Gambrell, 36 years old from Winona, MN was traveling northbound on State Highway 35 and was negotiating a curve in the opposite lane of traffic. Mr. Gambrell struck a southbound 2011 Chevrolet Traverse operated by Jillian Boles, 22 years old from Prescott, WI Mr. Gambrell overturned multiple times and struck a 2016 Ford F250 towing a utility trailer, operated by Brady Burbank, 23 years old from Cottage Grove, MN. Mr. Gambrell’s vehicle came to rest in the southbound lane of State Highway 35, and the other two vehicles were able to pull over to the side of the road safely.
Mr. Gambrell was transported from the scene by Allina Emergency Medical Service to Regions Hospital in St. Paul, MN with undetermined injuries. Ms. Boles and Mr. Burbank were uninjured in the crash.
The Pierce County Sheriff’s Office was assisted on scene by Allina Emergency Medical Service, Prescott Fire Department, and Prescott Police Department.
The crash remains under investigation.
