On Wednesday, August 31st, 2022 at about 5:23 pm, the Pierce County Sheriff’s Office was notified of a two-vehicle crash on Highway 29 near 805th
Street River Falls, WI in River Falls Township.
It was determined a 2020 Chevrolet Tahoe operated by Patricia Beissel, 63 years old from Hastings, MN was traveling eastbound on Highway 29 and
slowed down to turn left into a private driveway. When a 2018 Ford EcoSport operated by Sherrie McRoberts, 61 years old of River Falls, WI was also traveling eastbound, rear-ended the Beissel vehicle. Both Vehicles came to a rest in the eastbound lane of Highway 29.
Mrs. McRoberts was transported from the scene by Allina Ambulance Service to the River Falls Area Hospital with undetermined injuries. Mrs. Beissel
was uninjured in the crash.
The Pierce County Sheriff’s Office was assisted on scene by River Falls Police Department, River Falls Fire Department, Allina Ambulance Service and
the Wisconsin State Patrol.
