Car versus motorcycle crash on Highway 63 at County Road VV Hager City, WI, in Trenton Township.

On Tuesday, August 16th, 2022 at 12:42 pm, the Pierce County Sheriff’s Office was notified of a car versus motorcycle crash on Highway 63 at County Road VV Hager City, WI, in Trenton Township.
It was determined a 2006 Buick Lucerne, operated by Vernon Schoeder 82 years old from Elmwood, WI who was crossing Highway 63 east bound from County Road VV onto 150th Avenue. Mr. Schoeder failed to yield the right of way to a north bound 2022 Piaggo Scooter, operated by John Marshall 73 years old from Red Wing, MN.
Mr. Marshall was pronounced decease at the scene. Mr. Schoeder was uninjured in the crash.
Assisting the Pierce County Sheriff’s Office at the scene was the Ellsworth Fire Department, Red Wing Fire Department, Red Wing Area Ambulance Service, Goodhue County Sheriff’s Office and the Pierce County Medical Examiner’s Office.
