Single motorcycle crash with injury on State Highway 35 near 370th Avenue Prescott, WI in Diamond Bluff Township.

On Sunday, June 26th , 2022, at about 2:56 pm, the Pierce County Sheriff’s Office was notified of a single motorcycle crash with injury on State Highway 35 near 370th Avenue Prescott, WI in Diamond Bluff Township.
It was determined that Richard Esquivel, 63 years old from Eden Prairie, MN was operating a 2007 Harley-Davidson motorcycle southbound on State Highway 35 when a wild turkey entered the roadway and struck the motorcycle. Mr. Esquivel attempted to stop and lost control, crashing in the roadway.
Mr. Esquivel was transported from the scene by Red Wing Ambulance Service to Mayo Hospital in Red Wing, MN.
Assisting the Pierce County Sheriff’s Office at the scene was the Prescott Police Department, Ellsworth Fire Department and Red Wing Fire Department.
