On Sunday, June 26th, 2022 at about 2:55 pm, the Pierce County Sheriff’s Office was notified of a single motorcycle crash on County Road A
near 330th Avenue Maiden Rock, WI in Salem Township.
It was determined that Jeffrey Schmidt, 53 years old from Spring Valley WI, was operating a 2010 Harley-Davidson on County Road A. Mr.
Schmidt lost control and entered the east ditch.
Mr. Schmidt was transported from the scene by Ellsworth Area Ambulance to Mayo Hospital in Red Wing, MN with undetermined injuries.
The Pierce County Sheriff’s Office was assisted on scene by Ellsworth Area Ambulance Service and Ellsworth Fire Department.
