Single motorcycle crash on U. S. Highway 10 west of Highway 63 Ellsworth, WI in Trimbelle Township.

On Friday, May 27th, 2022 at about 8:37pm, the Pierce County Sheriff’s Office was notified of a single motorcycle crash on U. S. Highway 10 west of
Highway 63 Ellsworth, WI in Trimbelle Township.

It was determined a 2019 Harley Davidson motorcycle being operated by Lawrence Coone, 60 years old from Prescott, WI was traveling westbound on U.S. Highway 10 near Highway 63. Mr. Coone hit some gravel, causing him to lose control. Mr. Coone crossed the centerline and struck a guardrail located on the south side of the roadway.

Mr. Coone was transported from the scene by Ellsworth Area Ambulance Service to Mayo Hospital in Red Wing, MN with undetermined injuries.
The Pierce County Sheriff’s Office was assisted on scene by Ellsworth Area Ambulance Service, Ellsworth Fire Department and the Wisconsin State
Patrol.

The Crash remains under investigation by the Pierce County Sheriff’s Office.
