Single vehicle crash near the intersection of 410th Street and 650th Avenue Spring Valley, WI in the Town of Gilman

On Wednesday, August 25, 2021 at about 12:25 AM, the Pierce County Sheriff’s Office was notified of a single vehicle crash near the intersection of 410^th Street and 650^th Avenue Spring Valley, WI in the Town of Gilman.

It was determined a 2020 Chevrolet Silverado being operated by Hunter Schoengarth, 23 years old of Ellsworth, WI was traveling eastbound on 650^th avenue when Mr. Shoengarth’s vehicle left the roadway and entered the north ditch and vaulted over 410^th street causing it to go airborne and struck a power pole.

Mr Shoengarth was transported from the scene by Lifelink III Helicopter to Regions Hospital in St. Paul, MN with undetermined injuries. 

The Pierce County Sheriff’s Office was assisted on scene by Ellsworth Area Ambulance, Ellsworth Fire Department, and Lifelink III Air Ambulance Service.

     Crash remains under investigation by the Pierce County Sheriff’s Office.
