Single motorcycle accident on 370th Avenue west of County Road A Ellsworth, WI in Salem Township

On Wednesday, August 4^th, 2021 at 1:02 pm, the Pierce County Sheriff’s Office was notified of a single motorcycle accident on 370^th Avenue west of County Road A Ellsworth, WI in Salem Township. 

It was determined that a 2000 Kawasaki motorcycle being operated by Terry Herring, 73 years old of Farmington, MN was traveling west bound negotiating a curve.  Mr. Herring lost control of his motorcycle and left the roadway and entered the north ditch where he overturned and was ejected.  Mr. Herring was transported from the scene to Mayo Hospital in Red Wing, MN with undetermined injuries.  Mr. Herring was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.

Assisting the Pierce County Sheriff’s Office at the scene were Ellsworth Area Ambulance and Ellsworth Fire Department.
