Programmer Analyst

Description :

Programmer Analyst – Pierce County’s Information Services Department is seeking a Programmer Analyst to provide information support technology services, including analysis, customization, maintenance and utilization of County financial system and other internal information systems.  This position provides system analysis and programming support for County software applications, processes data, including State and Federal reporting and payroll processing.

Minimum Qualifications: Associate degree from an accredited college in computer science, programming, or a related field.  Two (2) years’ experience with computer programming, report writing, database management, and financial systems.

 Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from an accredited university or college with three (3) years’ experience with computer programming, database management, report writing, Microsoft Excel and Access, Windows based systems.  Experience with financial and human services systems.  Experience with NetSmart’s myAvatar, Crystal Reports, SQL and HTML programming. 

This position is a FT 40 hours per week position.  Starting Salary range $26.93 - $30.78  per hour depending on qualifications plus fringe benefits.
