Temporary- Park Ranger, Naturalist and Park Maintenance

Description : The Pierce County Parks Department is accepting applications for temporary positions at Nugget Lake County Park. These summer positions include Park Ranger, Park Ranger Naturalist, Park Ranger Maintenance and Park Maintenance. Must be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver’s license. Most positions require working weekends, evenings and holidays. Must be able to communicate effectively with the public to sell vehicle permits, take reservations and register campers. Experience with park maintenance equipment such as a zero turn mower, weed whip and common hand tools is preferred. Some positions require more public relations where the others are more maintenance related. Must be available to work from late May through the end of August. There may be opportunity to work before and/or after this time period. $15.89/hour, 40 hours a week, No benefits. Open until filled.

This position is a FT 40 hours per week position.  Starting Salary starting at $15.89 per hour.
