Dispatcher

Description : DISPATCHER- Pierce County Sheriff’s Office is seeking candidates to add to an eligibility list for our Dispatch Division. This job includes answering multi-line phone system, including emergent and non-emergent calls for service; provide follow-up communication and assistance to field personnel. Operate radio/telecommunication system with mobile patrol units, municipalities and other public safety agencies on a county wide basis. Minimum Qualifications: High School diploma, valid DL, and the ability to demonstrate computer proficiency. Preferred Qualifications: 1-2 years general or related experience is preferred. Starting wage is $21.01/hr, plus excellent fringe benefits.
