GARBAGE/WASTE

It is illegal to burn garbage in Pierce County. If you have questions about waste disposal or recycling in Pierce County, contact the Pierce County Solid Waste Recycling Department at 715.273.3092 or email recycle@co.pierce.wi.us. RECYCLING

Recyclables may be placed in the recycling bins at anytime. These bins are located by the town hall. Please follow the guide lines in the Pierce County Recycling Guide pamphlet located at the site. Please take the time to place your recyclables in the correct bin.

Note: The $25 County Solid Waste fee on your tax statement goes directly to Pierce County.

BURN SITE

The Town of Trenton Brush Site is located at the former landfill. Only brush (no treated or painted wood) may be left at the burn site for proper disposal.

The Town of Trenton does not accept appliances, water heaters, air conditioners, furniture, televisions, computers, tires, hazardous wastes, pesticides, wet paint, motor oil, lead batteries, antifreeze, infections waste or poisonous gases. The Pierce County Solid Waste Department will periodically have collections for these types of items.
