ANIMAL CONTROL (LOST & FOUND DOGS)
Pierce County does not have an animal shelter or animal humane officer at this time. If you have found/lost a dog, you can help by posting a picture of the animal on social media. Useful links include lostdogsofwisconsin.org, Facebook, etc. You may also wish to consider using the pet section of Craigslist. State law requires all dogs to have a valid license tag. If the dog has a collar and you are able to verify the tag number safely you can find a list of current Hartland dog owners listed by tag number here.If you're not able to safely restrain the animal, and you were unsuccessful at locating the owner via social media, please contact Town Chairman Kurt Nelson 715-594-3805.
Note: Animal owners are responsible for all charges and fees related to animal control including but not limited to transport, impound/quarantine & vaccination fees. Owners are also subject to fines for unlicensed dogs. For more information on obtaining dog license click here.
