Services & Fees
The Ellsworth Area Ambulance and the Ellsworth Area Fire Department serve the Town of Ellsworth. Both services are owned jointly by several municipalities and each year the Town is assessed operating fees for both services. Both of these services do their own billing and collection.
The ambulance and fire department services are primarily composed of VOLUNTEERS.
ROAD PLOWING/GRADING
The town encourages residents to use private services for driveway maintenance. Any requests for snow plowing, sanding, or grading will be done AFTER the town roads.
2020 Fees:
- Snow plowing - truck $40 for first 15 minutes; $100 per hour
- Snow removal - grader $125 per hour; $40 minimum for 15 minutes
- Loader use - $85 per hour; $25 minimum for 15 minutes
- Sanding - $40 first 15 minutes (does not include price of sand)
