2023 PUBLIC OPEN TIME SCHEDULE

The Pierce County Shooting Range Opens August 1, 2023

 The range will be open only when authorized personnel are present to supervise the use during the following dates.

August   
Tuesday and Thursday  12:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
 Saturday 10:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
   
September  
Tuesday and Thursday 10:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
Saturday  10:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
   
October  
Tuesday and Thursday 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Saturday  10:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

 

November* (partial month)  
Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday*   9:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

 Also open every day beginning Saturday, November 11th through Friday, November 17th                 9:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Range closed for the season after November 17th   

The range is closed if heat index is over 100 degrees. Also CLOSED ALL HOLIDAYS, SUNDAYS, MONDAYS, WEDNESDAYS AND FRIDAYS EXCEPT AS NOTED ABOVE.

 Shooting Fees
 Daily           $5.00
Annual        $25.00
Pierce County LE Agency Annual    $50.00

 - Children under 14 years of age shoot free.
- Benches, boards for targets and tacks are included in the shooting fee.
- Targets are available for sale

The Pierce County Shooting Range has been established for use by Piece County residents. County residents may bring a maximum of two nonresident guests who must also pay fees stated above. Nonresidents may not use the range unless they are the guest of a resident.

Children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult guardian or parent. Children age 14-16 must have successfully completed an accredited hunter safety training course unless a parent or guardian accompanies them.

The Shooting Range is located north of Ellsworth at W6894 610th Avenue, approximately one half mile east of State Highway 65.
