Real Estate Tax Bills
Real Estate Tax bills for the current year are mailed by the Local Treasurer in mid to late December. Full payment is due by January 31st to the Local Treasurer of the Township, Village or City in which the property is located.
However, if you choose to pay in two installments, the first payment is due to the Local Treasurer by January 31st and the second payment is due by July 31st to the Pierce County Treasurer, P.O. Box 87, Ellsworth, WI 54011.
If the full payment or first payment is not paid by January 31st interest will accrue beginning on February 1st. If the second payment is not paid by July 31st, interest will accrue retroactive to February 1st on the balance due.
Interest will increase at the rate of 1% per month.
