Home Care Program

Pierce County Home Care has provided quality, skilled health care services to the residents of Pierce County since 1970.  Our experienced, compassionate healthcare professionals are prepared to provide care when you or a loved one are experiencing illness, injury, or are recovering from surgery—all in the comfort of the place you call home.  Clients can be served in their home, apartment, assisted living, group home, or other residential housing facility.  Working together with you and your physician, our goal is to achieve the highest level of independence and quality of life possible.

Registered Nurses

  • Skilled Assessment
  • Medication management
  • Comprehensive health education
  • IV therapy
  • Supervision and case management of all care provided in your home
  • Wound care

Licensed Practical Nurses

  • Assisting registered nurses in your total care

Dietary Consultant

  • Diabetic and other special diet assessment and instruction

Home Health Aides

  • Providing bathing and grooming needs
  • Assists with rehabilitative exercises under the direction of your nurse or therapist

Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapies

  • Evaluation and treatment for strengthening and mobility
  • Gait Training
  • Instruction on in-home exeercises
  • Instruction on use of adaptive equipment
  • Assisting and teaching you to maximize communication and swallowing/feeding skills.

Foot Care

Individuals who are disabled due to poor vision and/or physical limitations are eligible to participate in this service which provides:
Assessment of circulation and skin integrity

  • A warm water soak
  • Nail trim
  • Lotion Massage

We do provide In-Home Foot Care by appointment only. The cost is $50.00 to be paid at time of service.
