Education
The Pierce County Sheriff’s Department believes that proper education is a very important factor in reducing the number of recreational accidents. With proper education, future recreational users will operate in a safer manner and less enforcement will be needed. The Sheriff’s Department sponsors an educational class each year in Snowmobile Safety.
