PARK RANGER/MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN – Pierce County Parks Department  
Assist in managing and supervising the daily operations and personnel of all parks and other recreational facilities, developing plans for the improvement/development of existing parks and other recreational facilities, operating and maintaining park equipment, maintaining grounds, buildings and facilities, enforcing park ordinances and communicating with the public regarding park services and educational programs.
Full time, 40 hrs./wk., $17.95/hr., plus fringe benefits. Requires Associate degree from an accredited university or college in Natural Resources, Park Management, Recreation or a related field, (1) year of directly related experience in the planning, management and improvement of parks, park facilities and services.  Within 6 months obtain a valid CDL (Class B, with tanker “N” endorsement). Speech & Language Pathologist: Pierce County Public Health Dept. is seeking a Speech & Language Pathologist to provide speech therapy evaluation, family education, coaching and service coordination to maximize the functional independence of children birth to three within their families’ daily routines and activities.  Requires Master’s degree in Speech and Hearing Sciences, Certificate of Clinical Competence from American Speech/Language Hearing Association, and Wisconsin Speech Language Pathologist license.  A minimum of two years of experience in the Birth to Three Program, or work that provides equivalent knowledge of child development, children with special needs, home visiting and program coordination skills. Must have a valid Driver License. Hourly wage $26.68/hr. PT 24 hrs/wk.   Applications must be received by 4:30 on February 12, 2016. EOE
