SWORN CORRECTIONS OFFICER—Pierce County Sheriff’s Office is seeking candidates to fill openings and establish an eligibility list for our Corrections Division. A wide variety of tasks are connected with operation of the jail. Work involves operation of the jail, safety and security of the prisoners, receipt and accurate transmission of jail radio, telephone, and various clerical functions in the jail. This position requires a HS Diploma or equivalent, Valid Driver’s License, WI Jailer Certification is preferred but not required at hire. You will have to successfully complete this certification within one year of hire.  FT, $19.69 pr/hr, plus excellent fringe benefits. You need to take the EMPCO EXAM. Contract CPS Initial Assessment Worker:   Pierce County DHS is seeking a CPS Initial Assessment Worker - LTE. Contract maximum is 12 weeks / 500 hours. Candidates must possess a valid WI social work certificate, proof of completion of Basic Juvenile Court Intake Worker Training, and experience completing investigations. Must pass background checks and have valid DL.
