Requires Master’s degree in public or business administration or HR management; progressively responsible public sector management experience; familiarity with legal issues relating to and typical of county government; ability to develop and oversee multiple and diverse budgets; demonstrable facilitation and/or mediation skills; or any combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge, skills and responsibilities. The following three forms must be completed for the Administrative Coordinator job application:
Release of Information Authorization
DEPUTY MEDICAL EXAMINER to professionally and confidentially conduct investigations of all reportable deaths for determination of cause and manner. Duties performed under the supervision and direction of the Medical Examiner. Part time, approximately 16 hours per week and one weekend per month (Friday 6pm – Sunday 6pm). Opportunity for up to 120 hours per month. This is a 24-hour service with exposure to all elements. Requires a valid driver’s license, personal transportation and ability to maneuver/lift up to 75#. Education or experience in medical field preferred. Pay scale is based upon the following duties/activities:
- Phone report $ 15
- Cremation permit completed $ 50 plus mileage
- Train work period/mentoring $ 10 pr call plus mileage
- Scene visit $ 100
- Scene visit with autopsy or >5 hrs $150 plus mileage
- Court testimony $ 15 pr hr plus mileage
- Monthly on-call pay $ 1 pr hr
- Mileage per County travel policy
