Children’s Long Term Support Social Worker: This position is responsible for determining client functional and financial eligibility for the CLTS program and assures continued eligibility for CLTS services through monitoring of services, monitoring of costs, and ongoing follow-up assessment. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or related human services field; State of Wisconsin Certified Social Worker or certification eligible within one year of hire.  Preferred Qualification: One year experience with children with disabilities preferred. Certified Child Functional Screener and/or Social Worker pre-service training is preferred.  FT 40 hrs wk; Valid driver’s license and personal transportation. Starting $24.07/hr plus fringe benefits. HIGHWAY DEPARTMENT SUMMER HELP: Pierce County Highway Dept. is seeking to hire summer students. Requirements: Must be attending a 4-yr college and preferably enrolled in a civil engineering program.  Student will be performing labor and shop duties along with engineering and project management duties, along with shop and grounds work.  $14.31 per hr. CORRECTIONS OFFICER—Pierce County Sheriff’s Office is seeking candidates to add to an eligibility list for our Corrections Division. A wide variety of tasks are connected with operation of the jail. Work involves operation of the jail, safety and security of the prisoners, receipt and accurate transmission of jail radio, telephone, and various clerical functions in the jail. This position requires a HS Diploma or equivalent, Valid Driver’s License, WI Jailer Certification is preferred but not required at hire. You will have to successfully complete this certification within one year of hire.  FT, $20.82/hr, plus excellent fringe benefits.  You may drop applications off in the Human Resources office located at W414 W.
