Human Services Worker: Pierce County Dept. of Human Services, HS Diploma required.  Associate/Technical degree in human services or related field, fifty (50) hours of training related to Children, Youth, & Families, and Six (6) months prior paid work experience providing services to families and children is preferred.  This position is responsible to receive and process reports of alleged child maltreatment (Access), provide information and referral services for children and families assist staff with daily client and program responsibilities. Temp - Service Coordinator: The Service Coordinator will be a member of a multidisciplinary early intervention team supporting infants and toddlers with developmental delays and their families in the child’s natural environment.  This position will provide service coordination for the Birth to Three Program, assisting the family in supporting their infant’s or toddler’s development in the context of naturally occurring relationships, routines, and environments through a process of assessment, planning and family supports. Early Intervention Coordinator/Teacher: The purpose of this position is to coordinate the Birth to Three Program in accordance with DHS 90.  Provides family service coordination for clients in their home or other natural environment including the services of the early intervention team members such as speech, physical, and occupational therapists.  Assures implementation of an evidence-based practice model including the primary coach approach and joint home visiting.  Performs assessment and evaluation measures, participates in Individual Family Service Plan (IFSP) development and provides education services for children enrolled in the Birth to Three Program.   Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood—Exceptional Educational Needs (EEN) or Early Childhood Special Education Certification from an accredited 4 year college or university with corresponding licensure through the Department of Public Instruction required.  A minimum of two years of experience in the Birth to Three Program, or work that provides equivalent knowledge of child development, children with special needs, home visiting and program coordination skills and abilities is required.  Applicants must be received by 4:30 PM on June 29, 2017. Zoning Specialist: Pierce County Land Management Department is seeking a Zoning Specialist to assist in the administration and enforcement of the zoning, subdivision, floodplain, St. Croix Riverway, sanitary, and shoreland ordinances; perform zoning and compliance inspections; issue zoning/land uses permits; and handle zoning complaints for Pierce County.  Degree in Land Use Planning, Resource Management, Environmental Science, Legal Administration or a related field with one to two years zoning enforcement experience, or any combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge, skills, and abilities required.  A valid Driver’s License is required.
