SOCIAL WORKER: Pierce County Department of Human Services.  Provide juvenile case management, intake, assessment, and ongoing services for truant, alleged delinquent, and/or children in need of protection or other social services; services or referrals in the area of individual and/or family counseling, parenting, basic living skills, and support services.  Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Human Services, or related field.  Certified or eligible for certification within one (1) year of hire by Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services as a Social Worker.  MN Social Worker certification Candidates with an internship in Social Work will also be considered.  FT 35-40 hrs wk; Valid driver’s license and personal transportation. Human Services Worker -Children, Youth & Families: Pierce County Department of Human Services. Requires a High School Diploma and experience in child development, parenting support and education, family resource supports, systems collaboration, maintaining confidentiality and/or development of community resources required.  FT 35 to 40 hours/wk; must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.  Preferred Qualifications: Human Services Associate’s or related degree.  Completion of 15 or more hours of training or education related to child development and/or family functioning during the past two years.  Starting salary is $19.45/hr. plus fringe benefits. INFORMATION SERVICES CITIZEN COMMITTEE MEMBER: Pierce County Information Services Committee has a citizen member vacancy and seeks a qualified individual to serve county residents.  Interested candidates should have an interest, specific knowledge and expertise in current technology.  This Committee supervises the Information Services Department and oversees all information services and equipment used in Pierce County.
The current vacancy is to finish a term that ends in May but the successful candidate may be reappointed for an additional 3 year term.  This committee meets at least once a quarter.  $40 per diem plus mileage.
