DEPUTY SHERIFF – PATROL DIVISION: Pierce County Sheriff’s Dept. is seeking candidates to establish an eligibility list for the position of Patrol. Patrol duties are general police work to maintain public safety. Requires WI Law Enforcement certification; or 60 fully accredited college credits and/or a 2-yr Associates degree and 520 hours of LE Basic Training to be eligible for WI Law Enforcement certification. $20.33 pr/hr w/merit inc thru 5 yrs, plus excellent fringe benefits.  Interested individuals must register at the following website www.empco.net to schedule a date and time for the Deputy Sheriff testing by 12/13/14.  Test must be taken by 12/13/14.  EOE

 

Psychiatric Nurse/Comprehensive Community Support  (CCS) Case Manager: Pierce County Department of Human Services. Associate’s Degree in Nursing or related field; State of Wisconsin License (RN); experience with children and adults with mental illness and/or substance abuse issues. Bachelor’s or Master’s in Nursing (BSN, MSN) and two years’ experience with children and adults with mental illness and/or substance abuse issues preferred. High School Diploma; completed 30 hours of training during the past two years in recovery concepts, consumer rights, consumer centered individual treatment planning, mental illness, co-occurring mental illness and substance abuse, psychotropic medications and side effects, functional assessment, local community resources, adult vulnerability and/or consumer confidentiality. CIVILIAN JAIL/DISPATCHER – Pierce County Sheriff’s Dept. is seeking candidates to fill openings and establish an eligibility list for Jail/Dispatcher Division. Duties are to be responsible for the safety and supervision of inmates and operation of the 911 emergency communications center.  Requirements: High School diploma, 1-2 years general or related experience, valid DL, be able to complete the WI Jailer Certification, demonstrate computer proficiency. $19.45 pr/hr plus excellent fringe benefits.
