Reproductive Health/Public Health Nurse: Pierce County Public Health Dept. is seeking a registered nurse to provide reproductive health and public health services at our River Falls and Ellsworth office locations.  Requires Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited nursing program; WI license to practice as a registered nurse and valid DL. LEAD SOCIAL WORKER:  Juvenile Court Intake Social Worker.  Position receives and responds to all Pierce County complaints of alleged Juvenile Delinquency and truancy.  This position is responsible for taking, holding and/or placing juveniles as permitted by law.  This provides a wide range of social services to families and children, including personal, family, financial, health issues; exploratory and diagnostic intake, juvenile justice case management, resources, referrals, permanency plans, etc.  Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or related field.  Three years paid Juvenile Justice Social Work practice experience required.  Juvenile Court Intake experience preferred.   Certified as a Social Worker by the Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services.  MN Social Worker certification with reciprocity considered.  FT 40 hrs wk; Valid driver’s license and personal transportation. Salary range starts at $26.35/hr plus fringe benefits. File by 4:30 p.m. on August 12, 2015. EOE

JAILER/DISPATCHER – Pierce County Sheriff’s Dept. is seeking candidates to establish an eligibility list for Jail/Dispatcher Division. Duties are to be responsible for the safety and supervision of inmates and operation of the 911 emergency communications center.  Requirements: High School diploma, 1-2 years general or related experience, valid DL, be able to complete the WI Jailer Certification, demonstrate computer proficiency. Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.  Must be able to work all shifts: days, afternoons, and evenings. $19.52 pr/hr plus excellent fringe benefits. A Pierce County Sheriff’s Department Personal History Statement application must be completed! File by 4:30 p.m. on July 31, 2015.
