Deputy Register in Probate – Pierce County Circuit Court  To assist the Register in Probate in carrying out his or her statutory duties and the duties of the Clerk of Juvenile Court.  This includes assuming the responsibilities of the Register in Probate/Clerk of Juvenile Court in his or her absence from the office.   Part-time, $20.44/hr., plus fringe benefits.  Qualifications:  A high school diploma, supplemented by legal or business courses, or any combination of education and experience required. ECONOMIC SUPPORT SPECIALIST, Pierce County Dept. of Human Services, to work with clients to assess needs for assistance services and to provide program referrals. Minimum Qualifications: HS diploma or GED.   Technical/Vocational degree in business administration or related field strongly preferred.  Strong skills in keyboarding, communication, math and time management.  Excellent interpersonal skills required.  Ability to utilize automated and integrated data reporting systems and software.  Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a call center work environment.  Experience working with benefits programs strongly preferred. Travel for training will be required. FT 40 hrs/wk. Salary starts at $20.44/hr, plus fringe benefits. File by 3:00 p.m. on July 1, 2019 EOE

DISPATCHER- Pierce County Sheriff’s Office is seeking candidates to fill openings for our Dispatch Division. This job includes answering multi-line phone system, including emergent and non-emergent calls for service; provide follow-up communication and assistance to field personnel. Operate radio/telecommunication system with mobile patrol units, municipalities and other public safety agencies on a county wide basis. Requirements: High School diploma, 1-2 years general or related experience is preferred, valid DL, and the ability to demonstrate computer proficiency. $20.44/hr plus excellent fringe benefits.
