Seasonal Park Ranger / Naturalist & Seasonal Park Ranger / Maintenance

                Park Ranger Naturalist

CONSTRUCTION SUPERINTENDENT: Pierce County Highway Department is hiring a Construction Superintendent to plan, schedule and coordinate highway/bridge maintenance and construction projects. Provide services including; construction surveying and staking, cost estimation, construction supervision and other construction administration related duties required and directed by the Highway Commissioner. Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years of highway and bridge construction/maintenance experience with 3 years in a supervisory role required. Experience in estimating and project management in the areas of asphalt paving, grading, crushing and screening, and bridge and box culver construction required. Must possess a valid motor vehicle operator's license. Two year associate degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field or any combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge, skills and of the job preferred. Working knowledge of MSHA and OSHA safety regulations as they pertain to pit and quarry operations and highway construction. Starting salary $67,204 annually plus fringe benefits. Open until filled. CIVILIAN DISPATCHER: Pierce County Sheriff’s Office is seeking candidates to fill openings for our Dispatch Division. This job includes answering multi-line phone system, including emergent and non-emergent calls for service; provide follow-up communication and assistance to field personnel. Operate radio/telecommunication system with mobile patrol units, municipalities and other public safety agencies on a county wide basis. Requirements: High School diploma, 1-2 years general or related experience is preferred, valid DL, and the ability to demonstrate computer proficiency. $19.94 pr/hr plus excellent fringe benefits.
