Seasonal Park Ranger, Naturalist, and Park Ranger  Maintenance The Pierce County Parks Department is seeking applications for two seasonal positions: 1) Park Ranger Naturalist  2) Park Ranger Maintenance.   Must be at least 18 years old, have a valid driver’s license and willing to work weekends, evenings and holidays.  Must be able to operate park maintenance equipment and common hand tools.  Must be available to work from the late May to late August.  There may be opportunity to work before and/or after this time period.     $10.50/ hour, 40 hours a week, No benefits.   Open until filled.  Applications must be filed by 3:00 p.m. on March 1, 2018.  EOE

Benefit Specialist This position provides information, assistance and advocacy to persons with disabilities 18-59 years of age related to public benefits and services. The position coordinates with other county, community and governmental agencies. FT 40 hrs./wk. Bachelor’s Degree in a Human Services related program with two (2) years of recent human services or financial work experience related to benefit programs OR Associate’s degree in paralegal studies or Human Services related program with four (4) years recent human services or financial work experience related to benefit programs. Previous work experience with benefit programs and determining benefit eligibility preferred. Work experience must include direct customer contact. Travel for training will be required.
