DEPUTY SHERIFF-PATROL DEPUTY/DARE OFFICER – Pierce County Sheriff’s Dept. has a current opening for Patrol/DARE officer. Duties are general police work to maintain public safety and 2 year minimum commitment to teaching the Pierce County Dare program.  Requires: WI Law Enforcement certification; 2 years full time patrol experience, great communication skills, no drug or alcohol offenses. $20.33 pr/hr w/merit inc thru 5 yrs plus excellent fringe benefits. SOCIAL SERVICES AIDE: Pierce County Dept. of Human Services, to assist staff with daily client and program responsibilities in the area of family and children’s services. High school diploma or equivalent required, human services related Associate’s degree preferred. Within the past two years, at least six months full time paid work experience providing services to families and children. Pierce County Sheriff’s Dept. is seeking candidates to establish an eligibility list for Dispatch/Jail Division. Duties are to be responsible for the safety and supervision of inmates and operation of the emergency communications center.  Requires: WI Law Enforcement certification. WI Jailer Certification required within mandatory time limits; Computer literacy. $19.14 pr/hr w/merit inc thru 5 yrs plus excellent fringe benefits.
