POLICY
Pierce County Department of Human Services is committed to providing its consumers and employees with a safe and therapeutic environment in which to work and engage in the change process. The Department will proactively assess the work environment and implement practices intended to maximize consumer and employee safety in ways that support the Department’s mission.
Consumers are encouraged and employees are required to bring safety concerns to the attention of the Department.
Employees who are injured in any way while on the job must immediately report the incident to their program manager or other management staff.
