Pierce County POLICY: Board Member Vacancies
If a vacancy of the Pierce County Department of Human Services Board occurs, the Board will notify the Pierce County Board of Supervisors chairperson and request that action be taken to fill the vacancy at the earliest possible time.If the Human Services Board Chairperson office becomes vacant, the Vice-Chairperson will assume the duties of the Chairperson. The Vice-Chairperson will fulfill the Chairperson duties until a new Chairperson is elected by the Board at the next regularly scheduled meeting.
